Experience the Total Solar Eclipse of the Sun in Sikeston on April 8, 2024. Events planned April 5-8.


Sikeston's premier location in the path of totality makes it the perfect spot to view and experience the eclipse. Numerous events are planned for the weekend. Eclipse glasses and t-shirts are available for sale at the Chamber/Convention & Visitors Buruea office, 128 N. New Madrid St.

Eclipse Party at the Rodeo Grounds, 1220 N. Ingram Rd. – 6-11pm

Crawfish Boil & Music Festival - Fresh crawfish and other great foods, live bands, eclipse information and giveaways, kids' activities. Camping available on-site (call 573-471-7196), 1220 N. Ingram Rd., 12pm-midnight.
Cosmic Pickleball at the Sikeston Recreation Complex, Open Play, Campanella St., 7-10 pm

Eclipse Watch Party at the Sikeston Recreation Complex, 501 Campanella St. – 12pm – 2:30
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show!
Eclipse starts at approximately 1:58PM and will last for 3m 30s.
