Separate sealed bids for renovation of a historic building to become the new Sikeston Visitors Center & Rodeo Museum will be received by the Sikeston Regional Chamber of Commerce at the office of the Sikeston Regional Chamber until 12:00 P.M. CST, January 12, 2024, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:
Sikeston Regional Chamber of Commerce, Inc. located at 128 N. New Madrid Street in Sikeston, Missouri.
Digital or printed copies may be obtained at the office of the Sikeston Regional Chamber of Commerce, Inc. located at 128 N. New Madrid Street in Sikeston, Missouri upon payment of $25 for each set. The plans and drawings are in digital format on a USB drive and included with the bid packet. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $0.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Attention of the bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed. Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E. O. 11246. MBE, WBE and Small Enterprise bidders are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
