When and where is the festival?
The festival takes place June 20–21, 2025, at the Sikeston Rodeo Grounds, located at 1220 N. Ingram Rd., Sikeston, MO. Gates open at 5pm each evening.
How much does it cost to attend?
General admission is $5 per person and kids 10 and under are free! Some experiences, like tethered balloon rides, may have an additional fee.
What time do the balloons glow?
Weather permitting, balloons typically inflate around sunset and the popular Balloon Glow happens after dark each evening.
Can I ride in a balloon?
Yes! Tethered rides will be available on-site for $20/person.
Is there food available?
Yes! The festival features a variety of food trucks vendors from barbeque to desserts.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is on-site parking available. We encourage early arrival for the best spots.
Can I bring my pet?
For the safety of all guests and the balloons, pets are not allowed inside the festival grounds.
Do the balloons fly during the festival?
The main event features a nighttime Balloon Glow, where balloons light up but do not fly. Weather permitting, full flights take place outside of festival hours--pilots prefer the optimal conditions of early in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. If you're in Sikeston that weekend, be sure to get out early for some balloon sighting!
